Happy New Year!

It’s been an exciting year art-wise and I just wanted to take a few minutes to share some highlights.  But first, thank you to all of my friends, family, collectors, and followers for all of the encouragement, kind words, and art-talk we’ve shared this year.  I’ve had the pleasure once again of being with Artists’ Gallery in Lambertville, NJ, where I’ve met many of the gallery’s regular visitors and had some fantastic discussions about art.

Early in the year, I had a couple of paintings selected for inclusion in “Art of Illusion” at the Monmouth Museum in Lincroft, New Jersey.  It was a fantastically creative show and I was very excited to have one of my paintings right at the exhibition’s entrance:

In May, five of my paintings were in a wonderful group exhibition entitled, “PRISMATIC,” at the Arts Guild New Jersey.  It was a chance for me to show a number of brand new works, larger than what I can often exhibit in Lambertville’s smaller gallery space.  Here I’m standing in front of the painting, “Seeing it Through“.

Over the summer, I participated in two exhibitions organized by the Trenton Arts Workshop Association (TAWA).  The first one was held in the beautiful Trenton City Museum at the Ellarslie Mansion in Cadwalader Park, where it’s always a privilege to have your work shown:

The second TAWA show was held at the Prince Street Gallery in the heart of Chelsea, which had a great turnout at the opening and closing receptions (thanks to the old friends who came to see the show!).  Here’s just a sampling of the exhibition:

A highlight of the year was the wonderful article written about my paintings by Ilene Dube in U.S.1, the Princeton area business & entertainment newspaper:  On Canvas: Patterns of the Mind

Much of my work is about perception and the philosophy of mind, so I was very pleased to be a part of a 3-person exhibition at the Art Times Two Gallery within the Princeton Brain and Spine Care Institute.  Eight of my paintings are in the show, “Energy in Mind”, which is up through the end of March 2013 in case you’d still like to see it.

Finally, I had my fourth (!) yearly 2-person exhibition with Artists’ Gallery in Lambertville, NJ, in November.  For the second year in a row, I had the pleasure of exhibiting with Alan J. Klawans and together we put on a colorful show of abstract art entitled, “Patterns & Meaning.”

Hopefully 2013 will be even more exciting!  Wishing you and yours a Happy New Year.
