Save the date: Sunday, May 18, at 6pm!
I’m pleased to announce that I’ll be giving an artist talk — “Abstraction in Mind” — at the West Windsor Arts Center on Sunday, May 18th, starting at 6pm.
I’ll be talking about color theory and perception, meaning in abstract art, pattern formation in nature and on the computer, and how all of these things combine with my love of cognitive science, philosophy, math, and physics in the creation of my paintings. Hope you can make it to the talk!
The West Windsor Arts Center offers classes, art exhibitions, musical performances, and more for West Windsor and surrounding communities, and has been a wonderful addition to the town I live in. This talk will help to raise funds for the center’s Annual Fund (attending is free; there is a suggested donation and all donations will be matched by an anonymous donor). WWAC is located at 952 Alexander Road, West Windsor, NJ 08550, just a few blocks from the Princeton Junction Train Station. (There is parking at the center as well as on the surrounding streets (but read the signs), and also at the Princeton Junction Train Station. It’s easy to get there by train, too! If you take the Northeast Corridor line on NJ Transit to the Princeton Junction Station, it’s an easy 5-10 minute walk to the arts center.)
