Biographical Information
After a first career as a software developer, I decided to pursue an artistic path that began with a move to New York City and a self-directed arts-focused education plan. Now back in New Jersey, my current work is the “Embodiment” series of abstract paintings that ties together my interest in the philosophy of mind, human perception, and abstract art.
Education
My arts education draws from a diversity of resources throughout New York City. I have studied with the following instructors, among others: Sherry Camhy (School of Visual Arts), Nancy Chunn (School of Visual Arts), Nicki Orbach (Art Students League), Lucy Gould Reitzfeld (School of Visual Arts), James Van Patten (School of Visual Arts), David Wells (International Center of Photography) and John Zinsser (The New School). In addition to the arts, I have studied philosophy of mind and cognitive psychology at The New School and have the following formal degrees:
