The Trenton Artists Workshop Association (TAWA) turns 45 years old this year! When I first moved to Mercer County nearly 18 years ago, I quickly learned about TAWA, made a number of artist friends through this group, and took part in some wonderful exhibitions. In October, the Trenton City Museum at Ellarslie will be hosting TAWA at 45: A Survey of Art from the Trenton Artists Workshop Association and I’m very glad to be included in what will certainly be a spectacular show.
My painting, Sierpinski Squared #3, featuring overlapping fractal-like shapes along with depth-inducing gradients of color, will be a part of the show. The exhibition runs from October 8 through December 2, 2023, with a public opening reception on October 8 from 1-4pm.
